I’m Meena Mangalvedhekar, project manager at deepSEE Consulting. Highly engaged with the Twin Cities community, I practice project management as a toolbox to connect the community with place. I also serve on non-profit boards where I contribute with project planning, strategic planning, community development, web development and business innovation.

As a project manager I have recently worked with Macalester College, The Alley Newspaper of Minneapolis, College of Design at University of Minnesota, and Hennepin Theatre Trust where I attended deepSEE workshops.

I graduated from University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in experimental media and interactivity. Although my own public art practice has produced mostly semi-permanent works, my works can be found at Walker Art Center’s mini golf and Odin Minneapolis. In a collective social practice, I regularly teach free classes to BIPOC women and youth.

Being a decade old immigrant from India, I’m still not a fan of Minnesota winters but I can’t think of a better place to call my new home. I love swimming in the lakes and running meetings on floaties. That’s my secret recipe for innovation.
